A necessary evil, perhaps. Even with Maven (at least older versions of Maven), omitting the version while keeping only the groupId and artifactId were legal coordinates. Is the project-specific organization option not really an option at all then? Frowned upon for a TLP, and not to be considered by a podling? Thanks, - Mike
