Hi Cédric,
The whole point of the /dev/ branch on dist is for putting release
candidates to be voted on.
Once a release is approved, it is then moved to the /release/ branch.
people.apache.org really should not be used for this, especially as that
machine will probably disappear in the not-too-distant future.
