Yes. I'm supplying this patch now for comment from the people who are
following these threads closely. Next, I will start a PROPOSAL thread, to
re-engage with the rest of the list. Finally there will be a 7-day majority
rule VOTE.
I think this particular proposal is nearing maturity and do not anticipate
making any more major adjustments (such as when we moved to the checklist)
before calling the vote. It's not perfect but IMO it's plenty good enough to
run as an experiment, and it's important that we make some incremental
progress rather than hold out for a panacea.
