I know this vote has already been closed, but I see that the binary
distribution have the following jars :

avro-1.7.0.jar
avro-mapred-1.7.0.jar
commons-io-2.1.jar
commons-lang-2.4.jar
guava-11.0.2.jar
hamcrest-core-1.1.jar
jansi-1.4.jar
javassist-3.12.1.GA.jar
jline-2.9.2.jar
jsr305-1.3.9.jar
junit-4.10.jar
mockito-all-1.9.0.jar
paranamer-2.3.jar
scala-compiler-2.9.2.jar
scala-library-2.9.2.jar
snappy-java-1.0.4.1.jar

Hamcrest seems to be BSD License
http://code.google.com/p/hamcrest/source/browse/trunk/hamcrest-java/LICENSE.txt

JSR305 seems to be New BSD License
http://code.google.com/p/jsr-305/

Mockito seems to be MIT License
http://code.google.com/p/mockito/

Paranamer seems to be BSD License
http://svn.codehaus.org/paranamer/trunk/LICENSE.txt

But the binary distribution license only mentions Apache License 2 and
Scala License for Scrunch launcher script.

That's why I think it's good practice to list the dependencies jars and
it's dependencies on the binary distribution JAR.

I'd have personally -1 this release until these issues got at least fixed
in trunk.

Note that I haven't checked all the 3rd party distributions and actually if
those licenses require any info put in the NOTICE file.
