+1 Agreed. I spent some time poking through the mailing lists, JIRA, and some familiar corners of the source code. The project seems to be in great shape, particularly w.r.t. the Incubator's graduation criteria. It's released a couple times, is progressing against its roadmap, and has a healthy set of committers. I'm not sure what further incubation could accomplish. I'm not sufficient fluent in the ORM space to push too hard either way, but "mapping objects to NoSQL databases" seems too restrictive if it this also supports relational stores.
