For me the RHS list is not useful at all. It provides a list of
project names, but that is it. All but a few are meaningless in their
names:

Accumulo
Ace
Airavata
Ambari
Amber
Any23
Bean Validation
Bigtop
Celix
Chukwa
Clerezza
Deft
Deltacloud
DirectMemory
Droids
EasyAnt
Empire-db
Etch
Flume
Giraph
Gora
Hama
Catalog

The only project I actually get (as a Java developer) is Bean
Validation. The rest provide no meaning whatsoever as to what they do
and why I should click on them.

A generic project page listing all projects with their description,
extended with some JavaScript filtering would be awesome, as long as
each project provides some tags as to their meaning (but the
JavaScript filter could also filter based on the description).
