The copyright section [1] still includes the sentence explaining how to record a grant [2]. If the copyright is owned by ASF committers and all contributors are in agreement then AIUI a software grant isn't required. This does need to be recorded in the IP clearance, though. Just replace the grant line [2] with your note about developed by ASF committers under the ASF.
