The name "Open Office" has been registered in the Benelux by the Dutch company Open Office Automatisering since before OpenOffice.org was announced, see http://www.openoffice.nl/merkenregistratie
Because of this and similar cases we need taking care to not omit the ".org" when indicating the project or the product OpenOffice.org.
