Sounds like a good id.... hey wait a second! That's me! First problem is the typical herding cats problem. But more specific to this proposal, I will submit that this proposal doesn't really need a champion, what it needs is mentors. And the way I like to mentor is by convincing people that yes, really, you are allowed to directly make edits (in this case we are talking about the proposal) or to spin off new threads. > Option 2: we use the wiki to stack up comments and concerns about the > proposal. Perhaps you could create a new page, sketch out what you would like to see, leave some prominent TODOs for others, and advertise it here in a new thread?
