Jukka, I'll repeat again. The solution currently imposed is not ideal. It's not working. Problem is there is no other way.
For example, If the releases were signed and maven had a way for folks to add say a gpg key before they could use artifacts from a repo, we could put up a web page for the gpg key where we can show the disclaimers. For folks who are bundling, they can somehow embed that gpg key or some other way, they can signal maven that it's ok to not prompt the user again as Project B folks already taking responsibility for those specific dependencies. Or some other brilliant solution from the folks would be ok too. Some explicit step for folks who are directly using the incubator artifacts and some for others who are embedding them Problem is when u try to talk to maven folks, all u get are insults. Believe me, i've tried. And you can check the archives. thanks, dims On Sun, Sep 28, 2008 at 9:28 AM, Jukka Zitting <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi, > > On Sun, Sep 28, 2008 at 1:33 PM, Davanum Srinivas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> We did the VOTE and everyone has stated their opinions.
