Its unfortunate that the battles between the WS-* & REST folks over the
years were billed as REST vs SOA. 
The emerging consensus is that a good service-oriented-architecture
contains a healthy dollop of restful services. Thankfully SOA isn't
synonymous with, or exclusively bound to WS-* anymore :)
