I don't recall saying there could not. What I am saying is that, were one to come here now, it would rapidly become the de facto standard simply by virtue of being here at the ASF. And once there is a de facto standard, many people won't even bother to look elsewhere, or bother to evaluate its merits or lack of them, because they've already got license, so to speak, to use ASF software.
