I feel that I'm sick of being yanked around on update-method-du-jour. This process has gone through at least the following mutations: 1. Site kept in Forrest, can be generated locally and then result committed. Process semi-documented. 2. Site kept in Forrest, but can only be generated locally IFF the deities of development smiled on you and you had a back-level version of Forrest installed locally. Change not documented. 3. Site kept in Forrest, environment set up on Web system for generation -- complex process, but documented. 4. Site moved to Subversion. 5. Site no longer in Forrest, generation process unknown, update process unknown. I don't really care what the method is, as long as a) it's persistently readable (the argument against Cwikiness); b) the process is clearly documented; and c) it *stops changing*. Maybe the Cwiki format is a dead end. And maybe the TEMP_HTML files can be edited with any text editor. But the process of generating the TEMP_HTML files from the Cwiki files is still unclear. - -- #ken P-)} Ken Coar, Sanagendamgagwedweinini http://Ken.Coar.Org/ Author, developer, opinionist http://Apache-Server.Com/ "Millennium hand and shrimp!" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBQeQ8K5rNPMCpn3XdAQFRFAQAjKno9NCSvfbaqp2nEMjC7ycjFVlxG6VD 6P7QkBcl23bsYy/qLh/eQto9I3Ua8c+WGGWmp1Dy5gInhzDHGGSFHOxf00dXzGTD 5U4BpjWg+ebX4U4PC48SUuTAh4aMYsMlJrJU21OmZeOYoZBmkZ/pz5TVVOnXZK/y YgUBgHZ8MTs= =tBM9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
