That warning going away when other problems are fixed happens
frequently. I think the earlier problems confuse gcc and it throws a
warning when there really isn't a problem. It's nothing to worry about.

I just followed Nate's advice and it resolves the. Now the code
compiles successfully on cluster. Though I haven't commented the
third warning. Surprisingly this waring doesn't show up after first
two fixes.
Few queries:
1. Is there any way to pass a macro flag ( -D__FLAG__) too the files
in the compilation process?
2. Mercurial libraries still not found and it throws style hook
waring. How severe is this error?
3. I received the following message in the compilation process.
[ SWIG] X86_FS/python/swig/event.i -> _wrap.cc, .py
build/X86_FS/sim/eventq.hh:65: Warning 401: Base class
'Serializable' ignored - unknown module name for base. Either import
the appropriate module interface file or specify the name of the
module in the %import directive.

Can you compile with GCC 4.4.0 on your local machine?
I don't have time to do it myself, but these bugs really are pretty
simple to fix. Just create virtual destructors (that do nothing) for
those two classes and try commenting out the third.
