Hi,

I have downloaded the stable and development version on my local system. It
compiles and properly simulates the FS ans SE modes. However, it does not work
in the cluster.

What's the difference between your local machine and the cluster?

I don't think that info is relevant, the compiler versions should help.

Can you compile with GCC 4.4.0 on your local machine?

I have just compiled gem5-stable code successfully with gcc/g++ 4.4.0. --Nil

Does your mail imply that you can compile with 4.4.0 on your local machine, and not on the cluster-based machine?
