Will do.
In this case I was working with Sentinel L2A. One raster was zone 10 and
the other was zone 11, which would cause stack to complain.
I'll put together an example and create a ticket.

the exact same CRS. I would want a new flag to accept CRS that are
somewhat in the middle of "strictly equivalent" and "not at all
equivalent" (which would result in non sensical mosaicing). Not sure if
that's totally feasible, but examples of real world situations would help
