Hi -mkernel is documented as:
Enable kernel development mode. The '-mkernel' option sets '-static', '-fno-common', '-fno-cxa-atexit', '-fno-exceptions', '-fno-non-call-exceptions', '-fapple-kext', '-fno-weak' and '-fno-rtti' where applicable. This mode also sets '-mno-altivec', '-msoft-float', '-fno-builtin' and '-mlong-branch' for PowerPC targets. Unfortunately, -fapple-kext does not appear anywhere in the manual. It is listed in darwin.opt with this: fapple-kext Target Report C++ Var(flag_apple_kext) Generate code for darwin loadable kernel extensions Who is comfortable fixing that? -- Joel Sherrill, Ph.D. Director of Research & Development joel.sherr...@oarcorp.com On-Line Applications Research Ask me about RTEMS: a free RTOS Huntsville AL 35805 Support Available (256) 722-9985
