I am almost ready to send the patches for the VEC API overhaul. This patch affects a very large number of files (342). I am testing the patch in various configurations:
--checking=release --checking=yes --checking=gc,gcac I've enabled all languages including ada and go. I've also added isl and cloog to enable graphite. I'm testing on x86_64, ppc64, sparc and ia64. I'm also using config-list.mk to check all the targets for syntax errors. I would like to add other arches to the mix, so if you have any target other than the ones I'm testing on, I need your help. The code is currently in the git branch dnovillo/vec-rewrite. It is trunk current as of today. Thanks. Diego.
