If you want to argue that, I'd suggest you not do so on this email list:

I don't want to sound b@d@ss or something, even though I am ^_^. This is not my saying, just that my army colleagues wouldn't shake hands when I fulfilled my service. Maybe it was due to the fact that I asked for a law to be enforced that would let them to stay stranded on certain posts for many weeks a time, so that i could be close to a very special person of mine though working 32-hour days in the army. This is not a mistype, I worked a total of 32 hours per 24-day, of course by being assigned dual tasks per time. So they had me wrong, this is my point. Believe me, it was a piece of cake to stay stranded on some lousy post, than to work 32 hours a day.

I'm not looking for being well-received; clarifying my issues is much more important to me.

I disagree.

I think you are wrong, however it is not really productive to express it.
