The backport of changes required to adjust FSF gcc to crt changes made in Mountain Lion... http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2012-06/msg01181.html were approved by the darwin maintainer... http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2012-06/msg01265.html but never commited to the gcc-4_7-branch.
