My (limited) experience suggests that things aren’t that bad between 4.5 and 4.7, at least for the tree, cgraph, and gimple subsets that my plug-in uses. My feeling is that there aren’t so many ways to design the core of these three APIs, anyway. But surely your hindsight could help understand and anticipate API changes. Thanks, Ludo’.
