Well at this point I am getting results like this : === gcc Summary ===
# of expected passes 74735 # of unexpected failures 790 # of expected failures 212 # of unresolved testcases 1 # of unsupported tests 1039 /opt/bw/src/GCC/gcc-4.6.2_SunOS5.8_i386/gcc/xgcc version 4.6.2 (Blastwave.org Inc. Sat Oct 29 20:12:45 GMT 2011) I am going to scrap the entire stack, start over from scratch with nothing but XPG4 tools ( ls, cp etc ) and a compiler such as Sun Studio 11. I can not recall ever trying to build gcc with Sun Studio but it is probably impossible. I'll give it a go anyways. This can't get worse.
