I'm not sure you're really convinced either. :-) IMO putting it on the branch after the 4.6.1 release won't increase the testing much there, since people generally test/use releases or mainline. You get the real testing when you release and I think that the .1 release would have been appropriate. I'm not so sure for the .2 release, as this would mean waiting for 4.6.3 to fix the probable fallouts for the SPARC port. I guess we'd better drop the idea then. -- Eric Botcazou
