Is it? I don't think so. If you don't care, don't respond. Don't come up with excuses like 'it cannot be done' or 'no one cares about that'. Anyway, enough politics. If one does not care about this proposal, you don't have to respond. And proposing a patch myself is not a realistic solution. It can take many months for me to get acquainted with the GCC codebase.
