There was a P1 bug with Linux kernel miscompilation I have been waiting for (PR45312). This is now fixed since yesterday, I'd still like to see some more SPEC results (mainly SPEC2k6) to be more confident that that change didn't cause noticeable performance degradations, but if things look ok, I think 4.4.5 could have rc next week and release the week after.
