I had some patches, but they are old now and won't apply.  This would be
a very good thing to add.  It would help with debugging.  You are more
than welcome to start working on them.

Makes sense.  Perhaps incorporate them in
http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/Partial_Transitions?

Moving them to the individual wiki page, as Manuel suggested, would work
too, but perhaps having them in a central place helps keeping them
organized.
