I use gcc 4.4.4 and 4.5.0 with gmp 5.0.1. I compile and use PostgreSQL and other stuff, and have not noticed any misbehavior related to gmp or mpfr. Although, I cannot say that I use gcc in a way that makes a lot of gmp or mpfr testing.
