Doing a bit of research, it seems that the bug has already been been recently reported (against GCC 4.3, which the baseline we're using), http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40024 (The suggested fix hasn't been committed to the head svn branch, however.) thanks, - Gary
