Hi Simon, I have found in the past that larger posts do not get many if any responses. One thing that might help is to ask one question at a time and keep it as succinct as possible. That is just my experience and may not be behind the lack of responses you have seen. If a post is going to take longer than 5 min to respond to then unless there is some motivation to do so people are not likely to spend a large chunk of time reading/responding to when that they could spend the same time doing their own important work.
