Sending those reports to the mailing list was always the main use I saw for the patch tracker. I'd like to open this issue up. Who would consider those reports to be spam? Who would be opposed to reinstating the patch tracker and having it send out notes about patches which have not been reviewed? Back at Cygnus I wrote a script which sent out a daily report for bugs which had not been fixed, and I think it was very helpful. A daily report is not appropriate here, but I think that a weekly report is. Ian
