A more traditional approach would be to use the patch tracker <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GCC_Patch_Tracking>, just in case a reviewer is looking for something to review. And when posting a patch, try to make it easy for reviewers to tell that your patch is for their part of GCC. For example, how does a reload maintainer know that <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2007-05/msg01774.html> is a patch for reload? I suggest adding the word "reload" somewhere on the subject line, perhaps as [reload] if there isn't a natural way of including it on the subject line. -- Rask Ingemann Lambertsen
