  I've found the FSF clerk's office to be very alert and responsive; the thing
that people are usually complaining about when they say it's taken ages to get
the paperwork done is how long it's taken them to persuade a
paranoid/ass-covering[*] employer to agree a waiver.  But I'm in the UK, and
I've received papers within a merre few of days of asking for them to be sent
out, and have received my confirmation in a similar timespan after replying
back, so please don't let the worry of that put you off.
