Unfortunately, I think it's too late for that. Java is not a major release priority, and at this point I'm not anticipating a 4.1.2 RC3. However, I would suggest that we apply the patch to the 4.1 branch after 4.1.2 is released, assuming that the Java maintainers are comfortable with that.
