I'd rather just add i686-apple-darwin as a secondary. We don't

Whereas I was hoping for the reverse with x86-darwin as primary and
ppc-darwin as secondary. :)
While we don't instantly replace the installed base there's an awful lot
of replacement going on AFAICT.
