That might indeed be the issue. I believe the hook uses a python getent wrapper to retrieve the user name, which doesn't understand the encoding used. For now I replaced Thomas last name with just "Koenig". Hope that resolve the issue. It is a little embarrassing we still don't properly handle non-ascii encodings correctly. Apologies, Mark
