You did not explain your purpose in asking the question.  Finally you
have:

Thank you.  Next time, please include your purpose the first time you
ask the question.  That way you'll get a good answer sooner.

In the past, we've repeatedly gotten queries of this kind from people
who really wanted to know whether a given option was supported on a
*particular* platform.  The problem with the question the way you phrased
it is that it's hard to know the right answer.  There are a relatively
small number of platforms that get a lot of testing, but there are huge
numbers of minority platforms out there for which the GNU toolchain
sort-of works.
