Geez, 'delta' from http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~dsw really does seem to make it easy to track down near-minimal testcases for ICEs.
It's tempting to continually beat the crap out of gcc-4.1 snapshots by compiling all the sources I can find, then for each ICE that occurs, using delta to find a minimal testcase, and reporting it to bugzilla if it's not already there. Would that be useful, or is it overkill? -- Trying to get a job as a c++ developer? See http://kegel.com/academy/getting-hired.html
