This m68k patch: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2005-07/msg00783.html was approved here by the m68k maintainer: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2005-07/msg01427.html I believe those PRs are 3.4 regressions, despite not being marked so in Bugzilla.
