I should also note that *you* seem to equate "disagreement with your viewpoint" with "wrong", "obstinate", or "ignorant", which is not the case. Just because someone disagrees with your views on floating point does not make them wrong, stupid, or people who don't want to listen. It means they disagree with your viewpoint.
