Since you didn't post your work in progress, I cannot comment on it further. Try posting it, maybe someone can spot what is wrong with it; that, or fire up gdb on it.





Binutils is using "-F" for the filter object, thats why its hanging. I find the -F unnecessary actually. In my binutils hack the only switch that matters is "-framework". Well im using frameworks almost exclusively now so I hijacked the library_search path and added the default frameworks search dirs to it. That way I dont need to change ldso at all.
