Hello, I hadn't realized that dead registers can still reach EQ-notes. Fixed with the attached patch.
Bootstrapped&tested with normal and release checking on x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu and powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu. OK for trunk? Ciao! Steven
