I agree. I also think the simplifications of `(VEC_COND @0 (uncond_expr) @1)` -> COND_EXPR should also be done in isel rather than early on. I filed https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=116100 to record that and I will change those too when I get back to this next week.
