Question: Is now everything clear - or are you still confused by my writing?

Well, I still do not understand why backward compatibility concerns specific to some other directive should affect the ABI for a new directive that does not have any current libgomp runtime support, but I suggest that in the interest of efficiently moving forward with this you just tell me what ABI you want me to implement and I will re-do the code that way. I *thought* I had followed your previous suggestion in the current version of the patches, but apparently I guessed wrong, so I'd appreciate it if you were more explicit about exactly what the compiler/runtime interface should be, and if there are specific things that should be happening in either the generated code or the runtime, you make it clear what goes in which side of the interface.
