The rest of the patch is OK if Jakub thinks it should go in, but if his approach addresses the problem, we might as well continue to GC the tables.
Jakub? I see you've obscured the UIDs in the dump, addressed a LABELs issue, and found another problem. Do we still want DECL_UID stability?
