Peter, The test gcc.dg/stack-usage-1.c already failed on powerpc-apple-darwin9 before you change with:
FAIL: gcc.dg/stack-usage-1.c scan-file foo\t(256|264)\tstatic and is still failing the same way after it. [karma] f90/bug% grep foo stack-usage-1.su stack-usage-1.c:54:5:foo 272 static for -m32 and [karma] f90/bug% grep foo stack-usage-1.su stack-usage-1.c:54:5:foo 288 static for -m64.
