--- Comment #228 from Iain Sandoe <iains at gcc dot gnu.org> --- (In reply to Peter Dyballa from comment #227) > (In reply to Iain Sandoe from comment #217) > > (In reply to Peter Dyballa from comment #214) > > > > > $ make md-unwind-def.h > > > Iain, you do understand that make and Makefile have the necessary knowledge > and can create the missing symlinks, they just don't "feel" a need to do so? Remarks like this, and comment #220 are not appropriate or helpful and get us no nearer to resolving the issue. You were asked in comment #26 - to reduce the scope of the problem to something that would stand reasonable chance of analysis - that is standard procedure, nothing special to powerpc-darwin. Yet we are at comment #227 and only just getting to that point. This is taking time away from other macOS support, and we need to focus on getting a solution The branch works under "standard" conditions - as demonstrated by the test results here: https://github.com/user-attachments/files/29629215/summ-powerpc-darwin9-gcc-16-1-darwin-8931-rosetta.txt there is no reason for keeping this BZ open unless we are making some actual progress.
