May I ask why was is closed as WONTFIX?
Just got hit by this bug in Debian 12, which uses special "sse2-support"
package to detect SSE2 support by using __builtin_cpu_supports. It fails on VIA
Eden Eshter.
/proc/cpuinfo returns SSE2 support.
