Yet, my impression is that perhaps the patch should be a bit more complex; in example, I think that the generic interface is introduced to a list and one has to remove it and restore to old value of the field "generic" to the symbol. Also, I think that the additional test could be: "( m != MATCH_OK )" Thank you for your patience to run the tests.
