Hello again, Thanks each & everyone of you for the stupendous success of our 1st Parents meet last month.
Many of you have been wanting to bring your straight friends (other than relatives) for our meets. Very few have come so far. We've been saying we'll have a specialmeet for them. So, on demand, we are having the first ever Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) meet in Pune on Sunday April 15, 2012 from 5.30 to 8 pm, at Open Space, Pune (address below). This first meet is simply aimed at creating a warm space where gays & their straight friends come together to share, discuss & understand each other better. The meet will be divided into 3 parts. After an initial round of introduction, the facilitator of the meet will informally get the "panel of gays & their straight friends" to talk about their relationship & interactions with each other. In the second part of the meet, all the participants will be divided into 2 mixed groups. We will try to dispel the "major misconceptions" that heterosexuals have about homosexuals in a "quiz-like format". In the third & final session, we shall all make an effort to jointly "answer the most common questions" that the general public have about homosexuality & homosexuals. We look forward to having as many of your straight friends as possible (excluding relatives).
