Hi Dark,
Cleveland Ohio just for the first time ever opened a casino. The first night a
person won fifty thousand dollars on a slot machine. No wonder they are
popular. But another thing is, they take no skill. So you are not pitting
your skills against another person's skills. So anyone can play, get lucky,
and win!
Other gambling games are the same thing, you know like the roulette wheel and I
think to some extent rolling the dice in craps. Even card games that take some
skill are still games of chance. You just don't really know how the cards will
fall.
When I had some sight I sat and played slot machines for hours and hours. But
not being able to see how the wheels landed, I didn't find it much fun to play
them once I was totally blind. So I switched to playing at the black jack
tables. The dealers were all very nice about telling me what cards I had and
what their up card was. This was all in Nevada with my Dad. I have not yet
been to the new Cleveland Horseshoe casino.
